Behind the scenes of a sunny success
Heading for Colombia! Some time ago, the Mediafixer team had the pleasure of collaborating with P.Y.T. Paris to shoot a series of video and photo content for the Nina Ricci brand. The objective: to showcase the new fragrance « Les Sorbets de Nina » in an idyllic, sunny setting on the Caribbean coast of Colombia!
An international cast and an exceptional villa
For this project, 11 models from Russia, the USA, France, Argentina, Chile and Mexico were brought together in an exceptional villa on the Colombian Caribbean coast, in Cartagena de Indias. A dream setting for a campaign that was international, fresh, sparkling and feminine.
45 days of meticulous preparation
The success of such a shoot lies in rigorous planning. The Mediafixer team spent 45 days preparing for the shoot:
- Obtaining the necessary filming permits and authorizations (film commission, drone, filming in the streets of Cartagena, privatization of an island).
- Customs clearance for transporting equipment.
- Supervision of creative teams: art direction, set design and construction.
- Search for and selection of the ideal villa.
5 days of intense, fruitful filming
Filming took place over 5 days, split between the villa and the streets of Cartagena de Indias. Precise coordination was required to manage the 55 people present on the set, including the models, the technical team, the Nina Ricci marketing team and the international press.
Two expert teams for optimum results
The success of this shoot rests on the close collaboration between two teams:
- P.Y.T. Paris: 30 people, including the technical team, the models and their agents, and the Nina Ricci marketing team.
- Mediafixer: 25 people, including 7 trilingual fixers and coordinators, 6 people for the artistic team, 4 hairdressers, 1 make-up artist, 1 dresser, 1 electrician, 1 lighting manager and drivers.
